Party planning FAQ

How much food and drink do I need for a party?

Start with your guest count, party length and menu. PartyPlannerTools converts children to smaller food portions, adjusts drinks for time and weather, and shows minimum, recommended and extra estimates.

Are the calculator results exact?

No. They are transparent planning estimates. Appetites, drink choices, weather, package sizes and leftovers vary, so you should adjust the result for the people you know.

Does PartyPlannerTools save my guest list?

Your answers stay in the page while you move between calculators. There is no account, upload or server database.

Can I plan an alcohol-free party?

Yes. Choose No under alcohol and the plan will include only water and alcohol-free drinks. Alcohol estimates are stock estimates, not personal drinking advice.

Transparent estimates

Our quantities are planning rules, not guarantees. Food-safety notes follow FoodSafety.gov guidance. U.S. alcohol serving formats follow the NIAAA standard-drink reference. Always adjust for your guests and local laws.
